 Rules Questions/Clarifications
« Thread Started on Sept 11, 2008, 7:29pm »

Hello,

My name is Drew and I just got into Ebob's Paintball game. I am not new to Ebob's miniatures and have acquired quite a few of them over the past 4 or so years. Stalag Luft III being a large amount of them. I must admit, however, that I am late in getting into the minipaintball range and perhaps others have moved on. I play Paintball as a hobby with my brother on weekends and I am addicted to it so when I saw these paintball figures I just had to get them.

My reason for this thread is simple. I wanted to find other players of the MiniPaintball game and to bundle together any rules questions or any improvements you think might be useful to expand the game system.

I understand at the present it is a rather composite game as far as the rules and miniatures go but with a combined effort it can be made into something better.

I noticed that the section for ebob's paintball system was small but I was hoping that a rekindled excitement for the game would spark some more good for game players.

So again, if you have rules questions, comments, or even ideas on how to make the game flow better, or even add to the existing ruleset then please don't hesitate to reply. The more information that can be gathered the more the game has a chance of expanding.

Thanks!

Hi DRew
I love the Minipaintball game aswell I was having a thoght a while ago about making more rules for non-automatic guns and pistols. I also thought I might be able to do rules for tanks. And maybe also jeeps and those blow up Paintball courses. ;)

Why would a pump get +1? The most accurate weapon is the semi-auto.
Worst thing about pumps is how often the balls get cut in the breech.
As a marshall I spent most of my time trying to clear the weapons - and as a player I always carried a barrel cleaner.

With the semi-autos gun problems are very few. Mostly they run low on gas or ammo.

I can think of no advantages to a pump over a semi.

Here's one of the bruises I recieved last Sunday (on my shin)

Besides this and many others - I was shot in the neck. That one bled quite a bit, but has healed now and the mark almost gone.
