Well, after several failed attempts to make a dwarf from it I finally chopped off the head and made good use of a great sculpted face....it's head it now part of a WoMT bowman to make my captain. I gave him some long hair, and I must say he turned out quite nice. Now he needs a name...any ideas anyone?

I can't believe you tried to make a dwarf from my armature! I would like to do some 'short armatures' at some point. I actually had the idea to make a 'fellowship' set of armatures - with the right faces and the right heights but naked as per the current armature.

It wasn't easy...I removed his waist , which made him the correct height, and he had a chainmail cloak so you really didn't notice he was missing his pelvis It was going well, till I couldn't get the chainmail to look right...so off with the head and he became a Gondorian captain. But don't worry, I'll monkey with one of the next armatures I'm getting and try to complete him. A fellowship set would be really cool, I'd have to pick up a set of those

I think i really should pick up a few of those aramtures. They seem to me really usefull for beginners and pros alike. Are there only one armature or are there different versions?

There is only the one. But it works for just about any human form. I didn't make different faces because I designed it for my own use initially and I would normally sculpt a new head. I do use the face that's on there when I'm feeling lazy - especially if I'm just doing a german guard or something. A range of faces wouldnt be a bad thing - but it would mean making another £50 mould - and you'd only ask me for 'even more faces' soon enough. Ebob
