Don't take that the wrong way - I'm not trying to be defensive, I'm just trying to make some accurate miniatures for this range - so there won't be any Arnold-Schwartzeneger style knights, or maces that you'd need a crane to lift or swords like cricket bats here.

Quite right Ebob. I much prefer realistic looking figures. The scale of weaponry in some manufacturers models defies logic sometimes. The Knights are looking great. The crispness of the shin armour is fantastic. BTW, I didn't realize that we shared the same birthday. They do say Pisces is the most creative sign of the zodiac, if you believe in that sort of thing.

"so there won't be any Arnold-Schwartzeneger style knights" not even for special characters like Hamish and Edward Longshanks? Not all people are weedy and you dont have to make stupidly big and beefy like WHFB. I just think that surely with padded cloth and mail they wouldnt look thin. ok ok ill let it die. still great minis

Who is Hamish?

Wasn't Hamish the childhood friend of Mel Gibson's (sorry William Wallace) character in that American fantasy film Braveheart. Anyway I think your Rebellion range is great, the Scottish & Welsh wars of Edward 1st are a much under supported era of wargaming. Hopefully in the not to distant future we will see a more conventionally armed Wallace, (that gets away from the Braveheart image) possible even a matching mounted version. Keep up the good work, while I'll go and crush some rebelious Scots.

I was being sarcastic Yes - Hamish is a character from the movie. I will indeed do an armoured version of Wallace + mounted versions.

*edit: actually never mind, i realise that my comments are annoying as i was just finding faults where there were none (no mini could be perfect) and after years of being half in the hobby i dont think miniatures are for me anymore. Good luck. -tobias PS i appreciate the fact that this may appear random so please feel free to delete!

A crest would make the helmet too specific.

Hello Ebob, I'm new to the forums and have recently discovered your new WIP minis. Any idea as to when they will be finished and for sale on your site? I honestly cant wait and will probably get some of these swankmuffintastic minis .

A Crest is easy enough to add yourself - always easier than having to remove them from every figure!
I think the range is coming along very well ebob and will sanffle a couple of archers for a diorama im doing.
