im not sure exactly how big the crews were, but we built a trebuchet ( we being a medieval history group i worked with), and we needed 2 men to operate each winder, 1 man to pin the arm, and depending on what your going to be firing, maybe 2-3 men to load it. and, of course, you need the small irratating man to scream and shout about what to do and where to do it.

What is the scale Gripping Beast is casting in? When I check the website the mini's look much smaller than the Rebellion ones. Does the Trebuchet fit the Rebellion Scale?

Trebuchets come in different sizes. The GB one is bigger. The Zvezda one I showed a pic of is actually 1/72 scale, but they can be built in any size.
