Ok guys, I'm back! (And I still haven't finished a single sculpt yet ) My question is: How does a rubber shaper help the outcome of a sculpt? I know its supposed to smooth it out, but is it much better than just an ordinary tool? Also, does anyone have tips on sculpting arm muscles? And one last thing: Where would I be able to fins weapons for my sculpts? I don't have spares from LOTR or anything, and was wondering if you could buy bulk generic shields, swords, pikes, spears, etc. Any help is appreciated.

Rubber shapers are good for folds because they have no rough edges like a sculpting tool does. If you want an idea of the effect try wetting a soft erasor and softening folds in cloth. As for sculpting muscles, theres a thread on them here: ebobminiatures.proboards33.com/index.cgi?board=sculpting&action=display&thread=1124810438Buying weapons? try carving from .30mm plasticard. I can't think of anyone offhand who sells them individually. Hope this helps
