im no sculpting guru, but i would suggest a flap of greenstuff over the horse, then a kinda circular one place on top?

i realy dont know to much about sclpting however i know a fair amount about history it depends on where your rider is from and what era if you give me some more details ill be glad to try and help ;D

so thats an old style western saddle i would put a small slightly rectangluar pancake peice of greestuff on and round off the edges then a slightly maller pancake on top of that once its dry again add 2 long flattened pieces of green on either side for the conections to the stirrup i would clip and bend a papperclip to make the stirrups and then its up to you on how to do the top part noticing that it rides up with a slight hook at the front and just diagonally at the back hope this helps ;D

;D no problem as i say i hant done much sculpting myself but that is how would go about it maybe some pictures f the finished model would be cool sounds intersting ! ;D
