hey all just one or two things here: whenever i try to sculpt faces, following ebob-s guide, i ALWAYS end up distorting the shape of the head, possibly because of my large fingers, making it look a lot less human-like. also, i always seem to get my fingerprints all ove my sculpts! its so frustrating, having something done near-perfect, only to spoil it by putting fingerprints all oer it!
any advice here?
thanks a lot

I have problems with the heads too, take a lot of time over it, and be VERY careful, as for finger prints, either wait until dry and choose between filing down slightly, or putting a very thin layer of putty to cover the prints, being sure to blend it in and that it looks OK, alternatively, smooth it down with a rubber tipped tool when sculpting, but be careful not to push too hard or you can ruin the sculpt. However, if yu will paint it, fingerprints usually don't show up, depending how bad they are
