Hey folks- I did this green for practice in proportions because I was having some trouble. I think in future I may sculpt the whole person naked before adding armor and details to keep proportions in line. I'd appreciate any comments on it, especially from ebob of course.

I'd say that's pretty good - but clearly the head is too small. Legs are just a touch too chunky. How tall is the mini from floor to eye?

its very close to 27mm to the eye. I was shooting for 28 but I don't think thats much of a problem. You're probably right about the head, I just am not able to see it. I beleive the height of the head is nearly correct--is it missing width? Perhaps the lack of hair adds to the problem.

It`s verry close, but you should sculpt the head a bit wider. But further it`s pretty good!

for example - I'm pretty sure my head is wider than my lower leg - squint at the picture - I think it helps. He's got a real pin-head problem. As for height - to be anatomically correct - a man is seven heads tall. So you can measure that.
Your man is 7.5 heads tall - so his head is on the small side. Most miniatures are between 5 and 7 heads tall never over 7.
