Okay, I am trying to sculpt some 28mm US WWII Rangers, and am in dire need of some help! I have a few GF9 Sculpting tools and lots of green, but none of Ebob's armatures....
Is there some way that I can start to sculpt without investing too much? Also, how do I sculpt the helmets and rifles?
Thanks!

Well, the answer to that depends wether you are sculpting for own pleasure or commercially. If you're sculpting commercially then you have to create the weapons yourself - this usually starts with printing the weapons out to scale and grabbing some wire and milliput. But if you're sculpting for yourself you can buy the weapons and equipment. Several companies supply WWII bits - I do the german bits, but you can get US weapons and equipment from boltaction miniatures amoung others.
The armatures are only £2.50 for 5 - so that's not a huge layout - otherwise get some 15amp fuse wire and make your own. Print out a human skeleton image to scale and lay the wire over it to form the armature - see the Wallace WIP thread.

Thanks Ebob! Last night I tried using a wire armature.... and am not to happy with it. SO I am going to buy some of your armatures and hopefully I will improve!
