I'm pretty much done I think with this bear. Feedback welcome, be it good or bad. 62mm tall on a 40mm base.

Brilliant! I think you've done a great job on this, there are other bears available, but I'd suggest this is quite possibly the best one. Well done.

Thanks Ebob. Positive feedback from one of the greats like yourself is very encouraging. After all, it was reading your early sculpting tutorials that got me started in the first place.

I can hardly claim to be 'one of the greats' - I've only been sculpting for 4 years. You probably read my tutorials shortly after I wrote them. It won't be long before you have more models in your ranges than I have in mine.

Lol, we'll see. But if I'm at your level in 3 years time then I'll be more than happy.

The Bear is similar in size to a troll, so I estimate about 10 quid. Maybe more, maybe less. Until I get a price per cast from the casting company I can't say for sure.
The website is almost ready. I'm doing some last minute tests on the shopping cart and contact details. Won't be long now. Only six weeks behind schedule. Do'h!

Here is the cast all painted up, as a Black bear, Grizzly, and Polar bear. The Brown is probably my favourite, as it is a lot easier to get contrast in the fur colouring. I have always struggled when highlighting/shading black and white for some reason. For more info on this cast, visit www.majesticbear.com

late comer to this thread, but I have to agree with eBob's original appraisal... best bear I've seen in this scale, by far. well done.
