He's nice, I personally wouldn't go for left-handed figures, although this guy is fantasy, it just looks awkward to my mind. Watch those proportions - his arms are longer than his legs.
With regards to the drapery, the folds in his cloak, you have them going around him rather than virtically. If you want to achieve a great looking cloak - study miniatures like GW's Saruman or Gandalf.
Shield needs something.. maybe a dome in the middle?
Good effort though and I can see that you have posed him so he could be cast too.

Yes, I had some problems with the length of the legs.
About the "left hand": I got an information that Gothic bowman often used the right hand to hold their bows to have a better possibility to aim (But that's wrong). So we have to say it's a left-handed miniature. My warrior of Dor-Lómin should be a mix out of some Gothic, English and Spartan warrior types.
I wanted a shield like one of Sparta. So I didn't add a dome.

Being a lefty, I'm thrilled to see the occasional lefty miniature. I like him.
I agree about his legs. I think they need to be lengthened a bit. I believe the distance from head-to-crotch should be about the same as crotch-to-foot.
Aside from that, I like him, lefty or not.

The second miniature isn't a lefty. I tried to give him better proportions (the second one). He has longer legs! What do you think about him?
