erm confused by the sword comment. If you mean the sword is wider than the scabbard it's not. The Green is wrapped around the sword - so it's impossible that it's smaller.

What can I say, another outstanding figure in an already excellent range. You have captured my likeness most excellently, even down to my spurs. Keep up the good work.

It must just be the camera angle because to me the sword looks much wider (but I will believe you Ebob)

It's tapered I guess, so the widest bit is by the hilt.

Wow, that looks great ebob! I really like the padded leather on his legs, and those designs on the knee. The face is really nice too.
Do you have any advice about sculpting arms which lie accross the body so much as his sword arm does? You also did a good job of this on armored Wallace. It seems really challenging to me. Do you sculpt the arm or the tunic first?

Well first of all I used a wire armature. The puppets aren't flexible enough for such a pose. See the original Wallace WIP to see the wire armature. Then you can pose him how you like. I put some putty to pad out the body, but I sculpted the arm first then the cloth on his body around it.

It's a marvellous miniature. I like the chainmail and the crown. The face is very realistic. Great work!!

I have to say, i think this one is not as nice as your recent work. The chainmail (especially on the shoulders) seems a bit week, just my opinion.
On a postive side, i do like the face alot.

Ebob I'm fascinated: Longshanks is really a king. He looks old but powerful and he's full of courage. Particularly I like the leather armour and the knee caps how Sirhc said. The crown is also excellent. Keep on working so I would buy a lot of things again in Köln, if you'll come. Sorry for my bad english but I'm learning it, so see you again. Sammy
