I just received my order which included a box of Milliput yellow-gray putty. The stuff is great! It's soft, combines quickly and easily, and it's very easy to sculpt and mold. Keep your tool wet so it doesn't stick, and to make the putty even more pliable. And just like the box says, in a couple of hours it's hard as a rock. The only other two-part putty I've used is the GW stuff, and Milliput is far superior, in my opinion. The GW putty is hard and difficult to combine, and is not as easy to shape. It's also more expensive. Milliput is my new best friend.

Milliput has it's uses - but I would never use it in preference to green. When I construct a horse, I use milliput first - because it sets like stone and is cheap - but the final skin is always greenstuff.
Use a hot lamp and you can set milliput in 5 minutes.

I sometimes mix greenstuff and milliput together in various combinations (usually 50/50) and get excellent results. It is great for doing clothing and armour.

I'm not doing any real sculpting. That's way out of my league. I'm using Milliput for basing and filling gaps, and for that, I think it's great. BTW, I finished my first trhee highlanders last night, flocked bases and all. I followed your tutorial. I like the way they're coming out with the static grass, but they still need something -- perhaps some dead leaves, and a rock or two. Tonight I reflock the base of my Wallace. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics this weekend.
