I cannot finish my entry before xmas.
I don't know about the rest of you guys, so heres a suggestion;
We continue this, and make it more of an army diary. I could make a seperate forum region soley for this.
You thoughts?
By the way; I'll be on peridocally, so no updates, as all of my stuff has been packed away. Dependent apon how hectic this gets... well... I'll explain when the time comes.
Cheers guys, what do you think?

i would be happy to continue the comp.
i think you would have won, as you have cleared the most out of your backlog by far.

Cheers mate. Thats one vote to continuing it. What do the rest of you think? If we do continue it, perhaps it would be good to make a seperate section called 'Army Diaries' and work it that way. Cheers all, have a wonderful xmas, I wish you all the best

As I was saying to you on the TLA chatroom FM, it would eb fantastic for you to continue this! As in the new year I'm building an Isenguard army and it would be good to be able to 'blog' it in an army diaries forum. Merry Xmas to you as well -TTD

Okay,
Come next year, I'll make a seperate forum (as discussed with TTD), and it will all be good. Perhaps also instead of the boring ranks we have now, have like 'budding scupltor' and a load of others, instead of junior member, etc.
Cheers all,
Merry X-Mass!

Yeah, but how can it be a competition if its gonna run indefinately? I thought that was the whole idea of imposing a deadline, to see who could do what in the alloted time. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the diary idea, but you can't really call that an extension of the competition, unless you have monthly awards maybe, like employees of the month, but for painting/sculpting quality/quantity etc.
I say award those who took an active part in the backlog competion, maybe leave it open till 31st December then move on to this new army blog entry idea as from 2006 in a new thread and start afresh.

Well i only got two things painted up, but one of those i did have to sculpt first! I don't even know who is judging this thing. Is it you FM? I've just been so busy preparing for my new job as a fire fighter that unfortunately the painting has been pushed aside for the present. Wish me luck, eh? Just noticed my rank of Budding Sculptor. Nice one. Can we have a list of ranks so we can see what to aim for?
