First off, thanks to eBob for teh super-fast service. My puppets made it over the pond quicker than I expected! They look good. I haven't used one yet (just got them yesterday) but I really like both the form & scale of them. Second, I've made some forays into sculpting before, using both wire armatures and other cast armatures/dollies, but the thing that's stumped me right away regarding the eBob puppets is how to attach the feet to a temporary handle (cork, whatever) while I work on them? I considered trying to pin them, but I'm not sure there's enough "foot" to pin into and hold tightly enough. Any advice? Thanks. Thomas zerotwentythree.blogspot.com/

All I do is superglue them to something - I usually use a 25mm plastic base. To get a good hold you can use a tiny ball of putty + super glue and then press onto the base or cork etc.
Then I usually start with the feet anyway which reinforces the hold. When done I cut him off with scalpel.
The new puppets - the skeletons have pins cast on the feet - so you might be happier with the skeleton puppets.
