Hello, i have the new paintball rules, and i must say a very good job, i look forward to playing when i have a free moment... After a couple of reads i still have a couple of questions if somebody can clear them up for me please...
1. Roll to hit : ok Saving throw : fully understand that Paintcheck : if you fail the saving throw, then you can make a "paintcheck" my question is if a marshal is not within 2 hexes then a marked player will wipe the paint off, does this mean a marked player with no marshal within 2 hexes can not be removed for the field..? If so then on a larger field, they will be a lot of cheating on a larger field.. Did i understand the above rules correct..? Thanks
2. Suppressive Fire : can you suppress fire up to 2/3 times using 2/3 Ap, if so it means the the target only gets the 1 saving throw, so this is best if you spend 2 AP`S on firing, is this correct also, i guess if you supress only once, its fine as he does not get a paintchecl etc, if this correct ?
Thats iy really Thanks Alan

Wiping is something that happens a lot in a real game. The rules do say that if you are playing are larger game you may need a 3rd or even a 4th marshal - these would typically deploy in the centre of the field.
didn't really understand your question regarding suppressive fire - but it's only any use if you intend to subsequently charge or move forward as suppressive fire never scores a kill.
