Ebob, have you ever thought about sculpting some of the "Sword of Truth" series minis? Its an incredible series and I'd love a couple minis from it.

It would have a lot of different type of men, along with several wizards, sorceresses, a dragon, creatures called "mriswith", and others. There are lots of different nationalities which are present in the series, each richly described.

Sounds good, where is it set? Is it like a Middle Earth setting? Or more Medievil?

Its not really medieval, more like colonial US, I guess. Not really sure. No knights and ladies or things like that. Nothing like that at all really. You'd really have to read the books to find out what I mean.

Now that I think about it, its not colonial. Don't know what made me say that. Its with bows, arrows, pikes, spears, swords, and magic. The people are more ciivilized than medieval folk which iis probably why I said that.

I see, you should post some pictures up. Aside from Ebob, there are some very talented scupltors on these forums, creative juices are a positive thing

Please do! Then post them in the Customer Gallery section Have you ever tried to scuplt before? Or just minor LotR conversions?

Just minor LOTR conversions, but I hope that I do well in sculpting. There are some people on TLA which really have a natural talent at sculpting. (See thread "My first sculpt!") Maybe I'll be like that, though I doubt it.

Well so far i've only done little things, like this and this But as for scrath-scuplting, well, i think i lack the spine to try something like that out. I suppose i'm afraid of faliure, which, when it comes to scuplting, alot of people share.

I bet that I'll not succeed on my first few tries, but I'll start with sculpting no-name warriors from the series. That way, I can get experience, without making the main character seem like he's retarded.

thats a great idea alatar, sculpt a random warrior, get experience, then ul be able to make a really impresive looking hero later on.
