Starting painting the Ebob items that arrived recently, so deep breath and be brave and hope this image works ok:



I used browns in the midtones and highlights to add warmth to the greys. Real stone has many lichens and other growths that soften the colurs considerably, especially after a couple of thousand years.

Are you going to add some vines or leave it as it is? With the colouring....

I want to get some of the fine flock and leaf litter from Antenociti and just add a small trace of it.
One thing I noticed while watching the EE DVD of Fellowship is that the head of at least one of the griffons was lying on the plinth (no - not the Plinth of Darknethth) so maybe I will have to try a spot of ye olde sculpting there. I like these a lot - they are small pieces but just add to the atmosphere of the game.
