OMGWTFBBQ! finally! thats 6 & 2.3 Pirates all sculpted  finished as they will be, sent to Kev White of Hasslefreenow i got a months break while i sculpt a Elf Adventurer for a friend, then onto the next batch ... any suggestions for the subject (ie this lot are "Cyber-pirates") ?  no big piccies cause no thumbnails :lol: Pirate 01 "Fighter Chick" Pirate 02 "Innocent Kiddie" Pirate 03 "Cyber Pirate (Hacker)" Pirate 04 "Never to be finished" Pirate 05 "Quick Draw" Pirate 06 "Chick with Chain" Pirate 07 "Ninja Pirate" as per This Sketchanywho.. sorry for the eyegougingly poor figures.. but theres some imporvement from my previous attempts |

ATM its just a hobby... although once i get motivation going again i have a Half Elf Adventurer to sculpt for a friend from a doodle he done *worried look* but i'm at a loose end till mid january so if theres any suggestions you dont mind me messing up i still don't think they are good enough to sell is the problem.. with so many mini companies now with such fantastic quality i can't see people spending money on my attempts. Maybe a "Club 100" style thing ... i get a certain amount of people sign up for afigure then get em cast & sold to cover costs... ? i wonder if theres anyone in the UK that does mini casting for a price... |

The place that GW get to cast their miniatures is a private company, they don't actually own it. That company can make moulds for other companies (and I think it does) in either plastic or metal. Otherwise, Ebob uses Griffin Moulds, and I think they are UK based. Cheers mate |

thanks all wasn't sure about any of em TBH... i supposed im used to gorgeous figs ala Heresy / HAsslefree sorry to dive off topic esp onna forum that sells figs... but due to me being drunk on this much vodka :  been asking around & i rekon i can get 12 casts of 6 sculpts for £4 each. personally i dont rekon they're worth that, but several peeps rekon i need to get em made. Qould anyone be interested? |
