I figure ill get the ball rolling a little, and post some pictures, to show the rest how it's done Supports for the duck-boards going in, just have to get a textured filler. I alreadly have Balsa Wood, assorted Plasti-card, and i ordered a small amount of Oil Barrels, Crates, and Milliput - Silver too complete it. A 28mm Heroic Scale Mini (no prizes for guessing which companies it is) for scale reference. The models will be raised another 5-10mm from there to make them 1/3 body-width over the foam. Milliput Sandbags will follow, until there is only about 3mm of the model over the Sandbags. Just showing it from side on. The base is made of MDF supported by non-structural pine (its really quite soft, the timber). Then there is about 2' of Polystrene Liquid Nailed above it. Just to finish off, a WiP which is completed now.... Thanks for reading, FM out.

Thank you all for the kinds comments, that IG Left-Tenent Is complete now, and looks much better then before. I changed that base around so he's not standing in green slime. But for the Trench terrain, yes its in use with my IG force, eventually i'll build a 8x4 table of terrain/ruined city. An article eh? well, if you guys want.... Ill also be using Ebob products, so i think i just might...

Well i'll have sandbags around the edges of the trenchwork - front side. Then i've got to purchase barbed wire from FW, ill probaly put more sand down on the board aswell. But the sides of the board are staying the same. That indent on the left side of the board - once i've made another mirrored board will make a road - leading into the ruined city. Thanks for the kind comments NightHunter, do you have any more tips/advice/tricks?

well its coming along greatly, pesonally if i was going to build a trench board, id ad a small sniper box made from foamcore, and also, make craters in the mud beyond the trench, it was like a mine field in between the lines i am informed..........by my history teacher although im not sure she was there lol.

Well just wait laddie! In the section that will sit behind it will be a ruined city, multi-story buildings, etc. Snipers like buildings! Yeah, i was considering doing a minefield - your history teacher was right, i will just buy the FW ones and mould then cast them out of Casting Resin / 'White Metal', which shows detail better?

That's great! I haven't been overly active on here, but I saw this beauty and had to post! Amazing terrain FM, definately article-quality. How on Earth do you find the time and/or space to build such projects?
