Everything is primed black and then painted burn't umber (this is the type that comes in big tubes for a couple of ££, great for terrain) leave black only in the deepest of recesses, it's drybrushed on the ground.
Walls - Drybrush in layers, graveyard earth, commando khaki and lightly over with white.
Roof - drybrush Dark earth (a slightly greener version of graveyard earth, more olive) and then vomit brown.
Ground - graveyard earth and then a very light brush of bleached bone.
For the grass I divided it into sections and added little area's of various texture flock to break up the lawn effect, and then used hairy grass through a puffer. The edges around walls and rocks have really coarse turf added, this infact fact was 'windfall' from old flocked trees that I had.
Note, all of the ground is painted and the flock goes over the top, this insures that if a bit of grass is worn, or only gets lightly covered it still looks natural as the dirt shows through.
Cheers Dave
