It's impossible to get a long pike or lance cast in soft metal that doesn't bend about all over the place. So for serious gaming you may wish to consider replacing the pikes with steel pin versions. Steel pins are available from Wargames Foundry website. www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/WEAPON/1/index.asp

I've not tried them myself - so I can recommend them as such but I don't think they're expensive.

The pike supplied are fine - so long as you look after your figures. The problems come when transporting them - inevitably they are a bit bendy and will get bent if not packed properly when you transport them about.

i have got a couple of lots of pikemen and i would like to say that i am finding the pikemens pikes very strong indeed, even having dropped one or two on my soild wood floors so i have found that they are strong enough!
Dan
also Ebob i thought its best not to start a new thread but i was thinking earlier seeing as all knights have a free banner would it be best to sell heros and banner bearers in the future as a two pack?

He hasn't sculpted any banner bearers and I don't even know if he wwill. It may be a good idea, but by then most of us will have most of the heroes. Another thing is they would be in different molds.
BTW, Happy Birthday Dan!
