So come on then! I need some volunteers. I need people who's first language is German but who have an excellent ability with English (most German people I have met).
Assi has volunteered to translate the first 4 pages - who will translate pages 5-8?

Or I will babel fish the whole document and email it to you as punishment I really want a German translation of the rules - as I have many German customers, but I cannot do it myself, so I need help. Hopefully I can pursuade Tankred or Glorfunzel to overview the final document - but they have been too busy to help with the initial translation.

Hi ebob I think I/we've got a little problem here In the rules you have the melee chart. As it's a graphic, you didn't send it to me, but it has to be translated as well. Shall I just mention it in my translation, so that you can change it afterwards? Anyway I thougt, it would be good for you if I ad the english titels as well, perhaps in colour, so that it will be easier for you to handle them And I've got some problems with the formation (?) of the text, seems like it got lost on the way... Btw: Could all translators agree on common translations for Skill, stamina and that stuff? And may be post them

Ok - not to worry too much - I will put the document back together in German and one person (probably Tim from HdR) will review it and make final changes. Tim (Glorfunzel) has created a private area for discussion on the translation on the HdR forum. 62.96.5.93/You will need to be registered and if you contact Tim he will give you the necessary permissions to view the private area for discussion.

On Page 5 "Moving into Combat" you say: "The maximum number of models that may move into base contact to attack a single opposing model is three. At no time may the ratio of 3 to 1 be exceeded. However, Polearmed models not in direct base contact do not count towards this total, so there is no limit imposed on the number of pole-armed models that can be brought to bear except that they must be positioned no more than 1" from the target model."
But in Page 7 "Melee" you say: "Important: A maximum of three models can engage any single enemy - this applies in all cases including when pole-arms are used."
Is this a inconsistence or did i miss something?

well spotted - this is because I changed the rule. Pole arms now have no limit.
The second rule is incorrect.

Hi,
it's been some (well, much) time since I translated some pages into German. Are the German rules still not done? If that's the fact, may be I can help? I think there'd be a market for them here in Germany, many people asked for rules lately.
