Good lord, those are truly fantastic. I had some doubts when I saw the greens but they have been erased. Seriously, these are a milestone! The painting on the scots is great.

Release will be just 2-3 weeks away. Regards the base - in the rules (which will be published at a later date) all heros and captains will be based on the larger 30mm base as you see here - so I think he will come with the larger base in the blister.

Ebob I love you! These models are some of your best yet, and thats saying a lot! You know if you keep bringing new models out, I'll only just have finished painting the last lot when you bring out more! Than again, they are all awesome!

These are a few from a primary mould - I am making conversions for other weapons and such like - the finished sets should go off for casting on Monday - moulds will take 1-2 weeks - so release is imminent.
Packs will be 9 to a set - so 9 Scots and 9 English plus Wallace as a special and an English Noble. The English will include 3 armed with Halberd (pole axe).
Glad you like them. I am working on rules - but that will take longer. The range - if successful - will go to include Scots knights, cavalry and Bruce etc. all the way from Stirling to Bannockburn.
They Scots are great to paint.

The rules will be a big project and will take somewhat longer. But I believe the game could be played using the GW LOTR system in the interim - simply give the warriors profiles that are similar.. ie. the Scots could be orcs or Dunlendings - and the English could be uruks or Khand. Make Wallace like Aragorn etc.

fantastic really these are fantastic and I'm really looking forward to them - even quite a few of those are conversions i could hardly tell it and i spent while looking at what was converted from what. i saw on frother forums you were asking about metal or paper banners - and i think they should be paper as with the banner model it would just weight it down IMO. but the captain is very nice indeed - and i really am looking forward to these and the scotchs. plus is that spiked base thing soothing you have made or will it be something for sale?

Thanks Fatty - but they're Scots - Scotch is a drink The spikes in the ground are cast metal poles - I will provide that - it'll come out later as part of a weapons pack in all probability - of course it's simplicity itself to make from a base and some toothpicks (just whittle them slightly with a knife). They are to stop horses. Infantry can pass - but they would act like defending a barrier.
